DRAWING HOUSE FLOOR PLANS by drawing EXTERNAL WALLS first then adding design rooms or clustering DESIGN ROOMS first, then adding external walls

There are WIZARDS to work through on screen that introduce you to the drawing options available in FAST PLANS There are also EXAMPLES you can print out and work through step by step.
If you have an idea of the shape, click FILE / 'new..' on menu bar, select 'draw external walls option' select measurement,
( feet & inches or metric ) follow the screen guide line prompt and draw the external walls NEW, now you can DRAW EXTERNAL WALLS with the CURSOR and, or, input wall length with arrow keys
Start with FILE / new drawing, fill in dialogue boxes.
To draw external walls with the cursor, press down left mouse button, drag cursor to required length in cursor position box,
fine tune position with arrow keys.
Press enter while continuing to hold down left mouse button.
For a line to be square/straight one number in cursor position box must be 00.
Repeat process for next wall, or use arrow keys to input next wall length.
As screen guide always automatically shows the distance of second to last wall drawn on a floor plan
click appropriate arrow key for second to last wall direction,
(do not hold down left mouse button when using arrow keys for input),
type distance Horizontally or vertically given on guide for that wall.
For an automatic last wall press '+' key on number pad or 'f' key. for laptop.
then click various icons to add rooms, windows, doors, beds etc. ( you can shrink, expand or change the shape of the entire design as needed ) Or if you have no idea of your preferred room layout.... select the 'layout design room option'

Click FILE / 'new drawing' on menu bar, fill in dialogue boxes and follow screen guide line and assemble some design rooms, delete - move - rotate - shrink or expand them, they are self aligning, when you have the perfect floor plan layout check rooms are aligned correctly, then click MARK EXTERNAL WALLS on LAYOUT icon fill in dialogue boxes and follow screen guide line to automatically mark external walls.

...the room layout .LYT view top left of screen automatically changes to a .PLN plan view top left of screen when external walls are marked

.....this is the plan view! title top left of screen will end with .PLN
